My name is Tom and I have started doing research on the connector industry to try to better understand the trends in the industry. I'd be interested in talking to anyone about general changes I'm seeing in the industry and to share ideas with other people about what we think is interesting. I'm currently thinking about how fast different sections of the industry are moving towards standardization, and how things are changing as customers try to consolidate their supplier lists. I look forward to talking and exchanging ideas.

Because we cover connectors across many applications, we notice that some segments have matured much more than others when it comes to standardized designs.
