IEEE P802.3ba chief talks 40-, 100G optics

Over at Connector Specifier's sister site, Lightwave, editor-in-chief Stephen Hardy spoke with John D'Ambrosia, head of the task force charged with creating the 40- and 100-Gigabit Ethernet standards, about 100G chip requirements. Mini-HDMI connectors materialize in prototype

Nikkei’s Tech-On! reports that Molex and other companies, such as Japan's Yazaki Corp. and Japan Aviation Electronics Industry, have prototyped mini-HDMI connectors for compact applications such as mobile phones and digital cameras.
